Three chibi avatars for a wedding website navigation bar: Tharriq solo, Laura solo, and a couple piece for the landing page. Transparent backgrounds throughout, eyes open, closed-mouth expressions on both. Tharriq is a longtime MTG player and the head shape stayed flattering but recognizable. Laura wears her armor, which had to read correctly after a GPT mock-up the couple tested came out wrong in the shoulders.
This is the rare commission that has nothing to do with TTRPGs. The use case set the constraints. Small avatars on a navigation bar mean clean silhouettes, no fiddly detail that would die at 64 pixels, and warm enough colors to survive whatever site background the couple picked later. We sketched Tharriq first to lock the face read, did his color pass, then ran Laura's color from the approved sketch in parallel.
